OurBus P653ORV has sighted Multiple times passing through Blofield Heath on unknown duties.

Anglianbus A47 - AU08DKN. YJ06FZK & R81EMB have been operating on the A47 the last week

Anglianbus 123 - AN61BUS, AU61AVK & MX53FDO have been on the 123 through at the last couple of weeks.

Anglianbus 124 -  Solos AO57BDY, YN57HRA & AO57EXA have on the 124 the last couple of weeks.

Anglianbus 587 - AU08DKL & MX53FDM.

X1 Update -

AnglianBus Fleet operating changes:

MX53FDM - Has been repainted into Swirls as opposed to the older Anglian Stripes.

MX53FDO - Has had a Brand New LED Destination Board fitted.

YN03UVU & YN03UVY - Have been transferred from the Beccles Depot to the Rackheath depot.

YN57HRA - Has been noted to have a Faulty LED Destination Board (See picture below:)

Anglianbus has gone Green......

Anglianbus have successfully secured an offer of £624,000 on 13 Brand New MAN EcoCitys buses with support from the Green Bus Fund. These buses will be for the Beccles depot for Services in Suffolk. The buses are expected to ready for Service by the end october.

Afternoon in Diss

A afternoon in the Town of Diss to take a look at its Bus Activity, and it was very busy bus wise.

Diss Bus Station from left, was Simonds YN57BXM, Anglianbus 306 AU04JKN, sitting
between duties on the 580 & Nightingales of Beccles Plaxton Beaver SF59BXR.

Heading into the Station was MAN Bus Simonds AE07DZH on Service 1.

Later on coming of the Station was another Primo by Simonds KX57FMM on Service 114 heading for Ipswich .

Finally, much to my delight coming out of Diss through Long Stratton Optare Versa, AU11EPE operated by Anglianbus on Service 003 operating between Harleston & Norwich via The Pulhams.

New Anglianbus Timetables: Effective April 2012

Anglianbus have published their new timetables for 2012, they are some withdrawals but also some new services.

A summary of the changes are listed below:                                          

001 - Less frequent

121 - Sunday Service, Starts later & Finishes earlier

123 - Sunday Service, Starts later & Finishes earlier

124 -  (Yet to be finalized)


520 - Frequency increased

522 -  Less Frequent                                            

523 - Withdrawn

524 - Frequency increased

525 - Less trips in certain areas

570 - Withdrawn

577 - Withdrawn                                                      

580 - Withdrawn from Mendham, Metfield & Withersdale Street

581 - Withdrawn from Aldeby, Wheatacre & Burgh St Peter

581A - New service linking Aldeby, Burgh St Peter and Wheatacre, to Beccles, Gorleston & Yarmouth Colleges

586 - Frequency increased

587 - Sunday Service, Starts later & Finishes earlier

588 - Less evening services, & Sunday Service, Starts later & Finishes earlier

601 - (Yet to be finalized)


603 -  New service linking Transport Museum & Carlton Colville to Lowestoft

A47 -  (Yet to be finalized)

C1 / C2 - Now operates a Limited Saturday Service

All these changes are going to be put into effect April 2012
