All aboard the last bus to Yarco!

Swift Taxis 137 FJ53VDL looking very smart runnin the 206 Service
to Great Yarmouth at its start point at Blofield North Street
News comes today that the long running 206 Service currently ran by Great Yarmouth based Swift Coaches will run its last journey on Wednesday 19th December 2012 as listed on the VOSA Website.

The 206 Service links Blofield & South Walsham and other villages with Great Yarmouth on Wednesdays only. (Yarmouth Market Days).

The Service was originally ran by Amza / Travel Royall and ran twice a week Wednesday & Friday, then Swift acquired Amza and its buses in December 2009 and continued to use FJ53VDL to run the service just as Amza did.

In August 2011 Swift reduced the Service just to run on Wednesdays.

This is one of the last remaining Ex Amza routes remaining with Swift, we have seen the withdrawals of the TR1 Service & 29 Service. Leaving only TR3 & TR4 I wonder if we'll see these fortnightly services renewed in 2013?

So now there's the question whats the future of Caetano Nimbus FJ53VDL, its currently been out of use at the back of Swifts Southtown Yard for several weeks now and all its old regular routes have been withdrawn.

Just for the record BX55OFN has been running the 206 Service mostly while FJ53VDL has been out of use and is expected to continue until the route meets its end.
