Anglianbus Fleet Update - January 2013

MX53FDO in the Stripe Livery

Anglianbus Optare Solo MX53FDO has recently been repainted into the newer Anglian Swirls livery, it was noted on 123 duties in Norwich today, leaving only the older Plaxton Beaver with the old stripes livery.

Also, it may be of interest to some readers that alot of Anglian buses including Optare Solos, Scania Omnicitys and the double deckers are now carrying a new rear advert, advertising Anglians MOT Facility's

An example can be seen to the right, where Optare Solo YN57HRA shows of the ad.

The future of Rackheath based Optare Solo AO57BDY is still unknown after it caught fire during 124 Service on Friday 28th December 2012

Scania OmniCity YN03UVT has been transferred to the Rackheath depot, it was pictured on 122A Service duties BY Kieran on the 31st December 2012.

Finally, The Seven remaining MAN EcoCity buses are expected to arrive in the next few weeks, they like the previous six will be in the special new livery's informing people how economical the gas buses are. They will of course be allocated to the Beccles depot because of the Gas Facility's there.

  3. No filling station as yet, have been told not ready until at least March, and as the new gas busses have not been registered yet, will probably be put on 13 plates. If you need any info or photos regarding Anglian you are welcome to email me at bertiecollins123@sky.com
