This summer AnglianBus managing director Andrew Pursey is to leave the company, his position will be taken by KonectBus managing director, Julian Patterson. Pursey is due to stay at AnglianBus until Summer to ensure a smooth transition of the operation staff. Patterson will be assisted by Philip Eden, who becomes Operations Manager.
A press release from the Go-Ahead group said:
"Since Go-Ahead acquired Anglian Bus in April 2012 Andrew has overseen the transition of Anglian Bus from an established family-run business to ownership by The Go-Ahead Group.
Andrew said:"I have been involved in running Anglian Bus for the past 23 years and during the last 12 months I've seen the company enter a new era as part of Go-Ahead. I am now looking forward to supporting Julian Paterson in delivering a smooth transition before leaving to take up a new challenge."
