As reported earlier, FirstGreatYarmouth 33423 (SN60CAA) was expected to enter service today on the long X1 route from Peterborough to Lowestoft. As promised, she appeared today. I was fortunate enough to ride her this morning on her first service. It was a smooth ride and I heard many positive comments from other passengers with the most common words of "posh" and "clean".

The bus has nice, large, leather seats; coloured maroon and cream but are currently lacking seatbelts. As you can see from the photos, the windows on the top deck are heavily tinted, with the front windscreen less so. This bus is due to return to Great Yarmouth once the new Enviro400s enter service and will be used and branded for the X1 shorts between Yarmouth and Norwich.
