Fleet Update ~ FirstGreat Yarmouth

Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 30888 W743DWX has reentered service today after some fuelling issues saw her out of service for about three weeks. Its nice to see an ALX400 working in the town again and she is seen here just after 1600 on Church Lane, Gorleston working the 1 to Martham.

  1. You have obviously never sat on those seats, Zac!! I have known more comfortable church pews or park benches. Whoever approved the seats on that batch of ALX 400's obviously goes everywhere by foot!

  2. I have sat on them, and I don't like them. They are the same as the Tidents so the people of Yarmouth are used to them anyway. I like the exterior styling :)

  3. I like ALX400's too, but my posteria has a prob with some seats - Anglian's Omnicity deckers give a fantastic ride but the seats are out of a mediaeval dungeon! How can anyone expect people to sit on those things for more than an hour?

  4. Thats probably why they are mainly on route 8 (presidents especially) as nobody would be on one more than 50 minutes (caister to jph)

  6. When did 37577 brake down? I saw her out at 16.00 doing the 15.45 run from Yarmouth To Lowestoft :L

  7. I'm surprised 30888 wasn't painted in the new livery.
