Holdall Adverts

As you are probably aware, Norfolk County Council launched the new Park & Ride smart card last week, called the Holdall. Since then, two buses from each site have had a rear wrap applied. I have been out and about recently to spot the different types of buses used on the park and ride, sporting their new adverts. 

My first Holdall bus was Norse's 7171 PN03UMD. Branded for the Airport Park & Ride, the Dennis Trident Plaxton President is seen working the 603 service at Norwich Bus Station.

The second bus I noticed was Konectbus 500 YJ05PXA, a VDL DB250LF Wright Pulsar Gemini. Konect operate five of this type, with three branded for Thickthorn Park & Ride.

Konectbus operate three of Norwich's six sites, the second being Harford. This site is operated by a batch of Enviro400s, with three branded for the site. Here is 601 SN10CFE entering Norwich Bus Station.

The third site operated by the Go-Ahead owned company is in Costessey. Service 10 operates between that Park & Ride site near the Norfolk Showground, and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. It is usually operated by Citaro bodied bendy Mercedes buses, of which Konect own five. 

On top of this, a second service operates to and from the bus station. Service 604 is also primarily operated by the same batch of Citaros. Unlike the other sites there are no branded buses for Costessey. Konect used to operate three 54 registered bendy Citaros, one of which was painted in the wrong shade of green and therefore never saw service. All three were sold on last year leaving the five standard Konectbus liveried buses to operate the services.

Although I haven't managed to photograph the buses used on Sprowston and Postwick sites yet, I have managed to bring you rear views of all the different types of bus used as the two sites mentioned above are operated by Presidents.
