X1 Oddity

With the split of the X1 service earlier this autumn, Great Yarmouth's X1 "shorts" were abandoned in favour of a twenty minute frequency stretching all the way to Lowestoft. Seven of Kings Lynn's Enviro400s were transferred to the Lowestoft depot to accompany the three or four buses from Great Yarmouth that would continue to operate the route. Since the split, the type of bus to be used has settled on the norm; the double deck. Before, it wasn't uncommon to see the odd Renown or Pointer with the occasional ex-Jersey Dart bombing down the A47. But as the Enviros are now operated from Lowestoft, on the odd occasion that one may fail, a different bus is used. Usually it'll be a standard liveried Gemini but yesterday X2 liveried 37564 AU58ECC made an appearance.
