Welcome to Part 3, The final in the series of the 2014 Year Review. The end of the year mainly covered FirstBus, although there were a few fleet changes and news for independents.
The main news this autumn was 12 StreetLites entered service with FirstEastEngland, shared equally between Great Yarmouth & Norwich.
As a result, a number of alterations occurred. 'EG52' SlimBus Darts (seen below left) will move from FirstGreatYarmouth to First in Lowestoft.
Enviro 200s with First Lowestoft (as seen to the image, belonging to myself, below left) will move to FirstNorwich for the Purple Line. 2 of which have already transferred.
The additions of Enviro 200s to Norwich (left) will mean that the Solos currently on the Purple Line will transfer out of the region. The addition of more buses has also meant that the remaining 1997 Dennis Darts in Lowestoft will be either withdrawn or transferred
Staying with FirstBus news,
60622 was on loan to Great Yarmouth for a long period, whilst 30888 did a swap. FirstNorwich have also began to repaint their fleet into colour coordinated liveries for specific routes.
Concluding with Sanders, they took on a further East Lancs bodied Decker. This is PM03EHU. All photos in this post are my own (c)
