Konectbus makes big change to Service 9

Konectbus are making changes to their 9 Service from the 3rd September so it serves the Unviersity.


The service was previously routed to serve the Newmarket Road after stopping at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Following the alterations, the service will leave the Hospital and head towards the UEA, stopping at Waveney Terrace, before travelling on to the bus station through South Park Avenue and Unthank Road. The change comes as Konectbus respond to the gaps that had been left by the withdrawal of services from other operators. Not only is this providing a vital link but also a frequency increase.

Konectbus Operations Mangager said:

"Ever since Firstbus cut the important bus link between the N&NU Hospital and the University we have been looking at ways of plugging this gap in the network. With our new 9 timetable not only have we re-instated this vital link but also take the opportunity to provide a much called for service between Unthank Road and South Park Avenue to the N&NU Hospital too.
