BUS SERVICES DISRUPTION

Huge amounts of snow fell across East Anglia late yesterday afternoon and fell all through the night, with Nofolk County Council describing the roads as "Ice Rinks"! This is obviously once again causing major disprutions to the buses, the details are as follows:

Anglianbus

A47 - Yarmouth - Acle - Norwich running OK but with delays. Blofield & Brundall to Norwich will operate from 1130
001 - Operating between Rockland and Norwich only
003 - Not running today due to very poor road conditions
004 - Not running today due to very poor road conditions
121 - All route OK except Bradeham Way from 0900
122 - Newmarket Rd only (nr school)
123 - No Thieves Ln or Bell PH, Salhouse
124 - Running but no South Walsham or Pilson Green
146 - Running but with long delays
164 - OK but with delays
165 - OK but with delays
520 - OK but with delays
522 - Now running but with delays
524 - Now runnng but with delays
580/581 - Running but not serving Gillingham, Geldeston, Wortwell, Redenhall, Needham or Brockdish
587 - Operating a clockwise loop Norwich/Poringland (turning at Budgens)/Upper Stoke/SHX/Trowse

IPSWICH

All services are operating, but the snow and ice are causing delays to all Ipswich services.



LOWESTOFT

From 07:30, all services (including X2/X22) will now be operating their normal, full route.
Please expect delays to the timetable due to the road conditions.



GREAT YARMOUTH

Service 1
From 11:00, service 1 will operate from Great Yarmouth to Lowestoft, but will be unable to serve Teressa Park housing estate in Caister.

Service 2
From 09:20, this service will be operating as normal from James Paget Hospital - Shrublands - Town - Barracks 

Service 5
From 11:45, this service will be operating as normal from Burgh Castle to Great Yarmouth

Service 6
From 09:00, this service will be operating as normal from Great Yarmouth to Bradwell 

Service 7
From 11:45, this service will be operating as normal from Belton to Great Yarmouth

Service 8 
From 07:30, this service will be operating as normal from Caister to the James Paget Hospital.



KINGS LYNN/ X1

From 07:30 all journeys will be operating, but please expect delays to the scheduled timetable.

Sanders Coaches 

We are trying to run as many of our services as possible but the following will not be running 210 service, parts of the 33, and all other routes are running main road only but will be severely delayed. Please take care and keep up to date on twitter.

Norfolk Green

Updated 21 January 0940hrs

We are running all routes as normally as we can, but delays are inevitable because of slow traffic and the state of roads. Buses are being particularly delayed on the X29 in and iut of Norwich and on the 37, 38 and 39 on the A10 heading into King's Lynn. Coasthopper is not serving Burnham Overy Staithe because of hazardous road conditions. 

The following schools are shut: Alderman Peel, Downham High, KES, KL Academy, Marshland, Neale Wade, Reepham High. Springwood, Terrington High so their special school buses will not run this afternoon.
