Norwich buses struggling through the snow ~ Video Special

Continuing on what the last few posts on this blog have been focused on the snow in Norwich, we have a few pictures, service updates and a video special!

Anglianbus have said that all their services should return to normal tomorrow, but they unfortunately can not take phone calls or update Facebook or Twitter due to a digger cutting through their phones lines so they can only update services through location on their website.

Some rural services may not run tomorrow if the roads are not gritted as tonight tempertures could get as low as -13C.

We will of course update on here if there are any service alerts.

Here are some pictures from Tuesdays antics....

Overall the last couple of days I think the bus companys have handled the situation quite well, with people pulling together to help others out as this video shows....

On Tuesday all the operators were sending out relief buses to make sure people got home safely but all outbounds were running late. The X1 buses were forced to abandon Norwich as the queues were getting out of hand and the roads were in poor conditions.

Its not over yet, ITV Weather says we've got a lot more snow coming our way towards the end of the week!

Many Thanks to Danny for allowing the use of his pictures.
