Today saw the first day of First's new service 29S, which operates once a day between Taverham High School and Norwich via Thorpe Marriott. Only one passenger boarded from the school (which just happened to be giving the route a quick test), however, soon gained some passengers as it journeyed into the city. As expected, the bus which runs the route comes of the previous arrival at Taverham on one of the daily 29 services - meaning it will be a Volvo B7L or B7RLE.
The route runs as following:
Starting at Maple Drive, then onto Beech Avenue where the bus takes a left onto the A1067. Taking a left at Kingswood Avenue the bus follows the reverse route of the 28 along the road until it reaches the mini roundabout where it follows the route of the 28 around Longdale and Drewray drive back to the mini roundabout where it turns left and back-tracks the 28 along the continuation of Kingswood Avenue and Windsor Chase, at the A1067 it turns left an continues into Norwich following the same route as the 28.
