Caister Road Update

Three more ex-Jersey Darts arrived today at Caister Road to be prepped for their future homes.

I was told that allocations for theses buses are currently unknown, however all 22 new vehicles should arrive at Caister Road by Wednesday, including an unknown longer bus listed as 42358 on the Great Yarmouth fleet list, which is thought to be an 2005 registration.

One of the Lowestoft buses also left Caister Road today, destined for its new home just a mere 10 miles away. 43865 (EG52FGU) is seen here outside James Paget Hospital on its way to Gasworks road.

Great Yarmouth based 43862 (EG52FGK) was also noted in service today. This is the second Slimbus to enter service in the town.

I will be at Caister Road on Wednesday in an attempt to be able to complete the list of new arrivals, and to reveal the identity of the 2005 registered bus!

Swifts BMC school bus mentioned yesterday, was not present at Southtown yard today. Its current whereabouts seem to be unknown.
