As you are all probably aware, Radio One's Big Weekend event comes to Norwich on the weekend of the 23rd May. To account for all the extra people that will be descending upon Earlham Park, First will be putting on some special services to help ferry around the festival goers.
Dan High found out this week that some of the destination screens have already been programmed and has sent us a photo he took of Norwich's 36180 BD11CDZ displaying a special variant of the Blue Line service 25.

On top of the extra buses on the 25/26 during the day, there's a frequent shuttle bus from Norwich Bus Station direct to Earlham Park. After 1500 service 26 will also call at the bus station every 15 minutes until approx 1900 then every 30 minutes until approx 2130.
Also, extra X1 & X2 buses each evening.
"Please note that whilst we will try our best to get everyone on to a bus to Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft we cannot guarantee travel. These extra buses will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.' FirstBus
