Norwich Park & Ride Special Part 1 - Harford

Seeing as Konectbus are due to take over all six of Norwich's park and ride sites in September with a fleet of eighteen brand new Enviro400s, I've decided to start a special series focusing on the services. Six posts before the changes, and another six after the changes. Today, we look at the site at Harford.

Harford Park & Ride was opened on the 3rd February 2004 by Alison King, Leader of Norfolk County Council. It is operated by Konectbus and  is based off Harford roundabout where the A47 meets the A140.

It is the fifth purpose built park and ride for the city.

The site features 1014 parking spaces, 48 of which are disabled whilst 4 have access to electric charging points.

The journey to Norwich takes approximately ten minutes, and buses operated to and from the park and ride site every 12 minutes using a fleet of three specially branded Alexander Dennis Enviro400s, although a plain liveried vehicles does sometimes find it's way onto the route.
