The bus scene this week in Norwich appears to all be revolving around KonectBus! First, the arrival of the new Enviro 400s for the 'Straight 8', shortly followed by the rebranding of other buses in the fleet displaced by this update. Now, KonectBus have revealed the new livery for their Norwich Park & Ride fleet and, as you can see, it's a two-tone green. The Park and Ride services are to be dominated by Konect from the 7th September.
The first member of the fleet to be repainted into this livery is 802 in the fleet. BD57WCX is a Mercedes Benz Citaro Bendi-bus, which was previously branded for route 604 (Costessey Park and Ride). From September, 802 is to operate the 510/511 route between the Costessey Park & Ride and the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. Thank you to Jonathan Berry for the photo permission of it in its new guise.
Konect Bus will operate new Park & Ride services 501/2/3/4/5/6. Buses will soon have WiFi too. Park and Ride sites themselves will have the toilet facilities reopened. http://www.norwichparkandride.co.uk/news/bus-times/
