Following the cuts recently announced by Norfolk County Council, another route is now going to be affected, 17/17A Blofield Heath & Lingwood to South Tuckswood via Brundall & City Centre, from today (Monday 16th January 2012) The bus will no longer service South Tuckswood neither will it serve through Robin Hood Road and Maid Marian Road. First have made an attempt to compensate for the route changes, 18 has been re-routed to serve Trafford Road and Hall Road. Will this be last we hear of these changes?

A First spokesman said: “The 17 and 18 routes have been combined so nobody is cut off from a bus service, but we are aware some people may have to walk a little bit further to a bus stop.
“Nobody should have to walk any further than a quarter of a mile. We have done everything we can to limit the effects of the changes.”
