anglianbus 216 re-enters service

As reported earlier, W216PRB has emerged from the paintshop in her new livery. I hadn't realised that she had already entered service until I stumbled across a set of photos of her in Lowestoft on the Saturday just gone. Here, Steven Hughes captures her working the 601A to Pleasurewood Hills, still to receive her fleet names and front and rear fleet numbers. I happened to pass the Beccles depot yesterday and saw her inside the garage awaiting a new radiator.

anglian's 550 (AO57EZM) which is branded for the 588 but saw service on the A47 earlier this week, was captured by Steven on the same day working the 146! I believe this to be the first time a decker has appeared on the route, but if not, its definitely one of the only photos of one!

Thanks to Steven for the use of his photographs.
