Gerard has revealed full details of the upcoming changes affecting service X1. After speaking to him recently, I can now bring you those details too.
From the 27th July, the route will be split into two sections. The X1 'shorts' will be abandoned and the Lowestoft to Norwich route will be operated every 20 minutes. Seven of the Enviro400s will be transferred to Great Yarmouth depot and the route will be driven by a mixture of Lowestoft and Yarmouth drivers.
The Peterborough to Norwich section will be operated by the remaining 15 buses out of King's Lynn and the longwinded Toftwood section of the route will be left to Konectbus. For more info, click here to see Gerard's post.
