London Visit ~ Part 2 UPDATED

Monday 25th August:
After a brisk walk to Woking Train Station in Surrey (Observing one of the boldest liveries in the area- Abellio Surrey Bus), I caught an express SouthWestTrains service into London Waterloo. Abellio Surrey Bus operate a number of bus services in Surrey mainly using SLF Mini Darts & Enviro 200s, although they also have ALX400s and Millennium East Lanc Darts too!
I really like their livery with the grey & red swirls, But some buses were plain white with Red Skirts! (Photo not my own- Didn't have camera ready myself to get any Abellio Surrey Bus photos). AbellioSurreyBus have the same seat pattern as the newly refurbished AbellioGreaterAnglia Class321s.

On arrival at Waterloo we changed onto the London Underground, alighting at Covent Garden to visit the London Transport Museum. I really enjoyed the museum & it's certainly worth a visit- there's lots of displays & rolling stock and of course buses! Contained in the museum there's a front (Front only) of a Gemini, A Route master, and a Single Decker Bedford Coach! Photos below are my own

Tuesday 26th: We travelled to Greenwich on the DLR (Docklands light railway). I really enjoyed the journey but didn't see many buses this day- Mainly just sightseeing!

Wednesday 27th ~ London Eye:
Whilst on the London Eye I took many photos of Buses, Waterloo Railway station, Trains & also of course the sights! More train detail on NorfolkScene

Thursday 28th ~ Thorpe Park:
I never realised that Thorpe Park hire out a number of Buses from Sullivan Buses. They operate a shuttle from Thorpe Park to Staines Train station, Mainly for those not yet old enough to drive or families without a car. There was Weight Renown's, Darts, and Enviro 200s- all in a Dark Blue Livery with White Branding for Thorpe Park (Sullivan buses have a Red livery, so I assume they're painted specially for shuttle)
