More Details about Anglian's 7

imagine this paintjob, with a green front and you get "Swift 7"
Reported recently on the blog was that Anglian were to withdraw their 7 service which operates between Norwich and Great Yarmouth via Acle. Today I learnt of further details about how Go-Ahead are to replace this service, with all changes coming into affect from the 25th July. Thanks to my contact at Konectbus for the following information.

Konectbus are to cancel the 503 Park and Ride service and replace it with a service numbered X7. It will operate from Norwich Bus Station to County Hall, and then onto Postwick Park & Ride every thirty minutes. They will also operate a new service, numbered 7, which will operate from Norwich Bus Station to the Rail Station, then through Thorpe before arriving at Postwick Park & Ride. From there, it will operate to Great Yarmouth via Acle as the current route does, but some journeys will be extended to Caister-on-sea. The 7 will run every half hour, meaning including the X7, the service will provide a frequency of one bus every fifteen minutes between Norwich and Postwick.

It is expected that some of the current fleet of Enviro400s used on the Park & Ride services will be repainted into a new "Swift 7" livery, which will be the same as the "Straight 8" livery but with a green front rather than a blue one.
